The 12-day Ruby Valley Trek runs along the vicinity of the Ganesh Himal (7422m). It is called Ruby Valley because the Ganesh Himal has deposits of rubies.

Booking direct with Eternal himalaya adventure, a Kathmandu-based company run by ram sharan , proved not just straightforward but a very personal introduction to trekking in Nepal. At the planning stage, all our questions were answered courteously, suggestions were explained, and booking was painless. On arrival everything was in place for an exceptional and truly memorable trip. Mr. ram took considerable care to look after us as individuals, meeting us at the airport, checking that we had everything we needed, seeing us off on our trek with a good guide - hari adhikari - and porters from the area where we were trekking, and meeting up with us when we returned. We couldn't have asked for more.

Mr. bipin arranged a fine trek for my sister and me. This 9 day trek is off the beaten track and we saw very few other trekkers. The scenery was beautiful, the villages we passed through were welcoming and friendly. Our guide nakkul was excellent - very informative, attentive and helpful. Our porter jagat was always cheerful and keen to help and learn English. We had the trip of a lifetime.
