The Naya Kanga Peak Climbing trip has been gaining quite a bit of fame due to its easy accessibility and a surreal display of Himalayas. This climbing trip takes you on a natural and cultural journey. Hence, It explores the revered sites of Kyanjin Gompa and Tserko Ri.
The trip culminates at the summit of the Naya Kanga Peak (5844m)with the cinematic display of mountains in Langtang, Ganesh, and Ganchempo ranges. Pack your bags and set out on a journey that will take you through Tamang settlements and Langtang National Park.
This 17-day Naya Kanga Peak Climbing begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. Before heading out on our grand conquest, we take a brief tour of Kathmandu valley and visit some UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The next day, we head to Dhunche. From Dhunche, the trek begins as you walk along the banks of Trishuli River to reach Thule Syabru. The trail takes a steep turn on the road to Lama Hotel.
Take a break at Ghodatabela and then embark on the trail to Langtang village. After exploring this village, we shall head to Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa has great significance in this region and is a must-see monastery in this trek. On the rest day, head to the nearest hill of Tserko Ri and take in the sights of Langtang and Dorje Lakpa ranges. Leaving Kyanjin Gompa, we head to the Naya Khang Peak Base Camp.
From the base camp, we slowly head to the high camp and begin the scaling of the Naya Kanga Peak (5844m). Once on top of the summit, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and its range, Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Manaslu (8,163m), and the whole Langtang Valley.
After the climb, we shall slowly head back to Kyanjin Gompa and then towards Lama Hotel. Trek to arrive at Syabrubensi and head back to Kathmandu where the trip shall come to an end.
