Mera Peak Amphu Lapcha Island Peak Trek One of the stunning Peak of Khumbu Region.
I went on the “popular” Mount Mera Amphu Lapcha Island Peak Trek in April 2018. It was 23 days of the trek, Mera Amphu Lapcha is graded ‘D’ & it is the 2nd hardest pass in the Himalayan Region. It was a wonderful experience to land & take off in the world riskiest airport. We lived for 20 days in a tent, & other 3 days in the local Tea houses. We couldn’t have shower for these 23 days & the toilets are a very simple one. The weather was extremely cold, the temperature would always be below 0 degree Celsuis. These 23 days without connecting to the outside world was another amazing experience for us. There was no electricity, but there were solar panels. Thank you Eternal Himalaya & the team for this wonderful trip.
