This 6-day hiking trip takes you through lush green fields, farmed terraces, and traditional settlements along the trail. Also, the hike provides you with views of the picturesque Kathmandu Valley and the majestic mountains on the backdrop.

Furthermore, as we hike it appear more clear and apparent from the hill stations of Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. All the destinations of Chisapani, Nagarkot, and Dhulikhel are the favorite getaway of the people in the valley as they offer unique experiences to travelers.

This is a short hiking trip that lasts only 6 days. You begin the journey from Kathmandu. First, we will drive to Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, it is a 4 hours walk up to Chisapani.

It is the northeast hill sections of the valley. Chisapani is known to offer rather a chilly atmosphere with views of the Langtang Himalayan ranges. The next day, we will be heading to Nagarkot through a gradual uphill trail. The hike to Nagarkot is the most challenging one on the trip.

Due to relatively short visit in Kathmandu, bipin recommended this six-day trip for us. I was worried about my partner who has no hiking experience, and six-day hike might be too much. But the result both of us feels good about this trip. The guide Hari can adjust the trip depend on our physical status to ease the hiking. We enjoyed the way hike up to Chisapani from Sundarijal trail. Enjoyed to see small villages along the trail and some view, despite the trail is a bit steep. In the morning of the second day, the view at Chisapani tea house was amazing!!! The high mountains looks so close already. The Nagarkot hike on the second day is the best hike of the trip. We saw terrace files that didn't expect in the valley and the road was not steep at all. Lastly, as a suggestion, I would have arranged the trip in springtime to see some vegetation on the fields. Also, I wish I have spent more time in Nagarkot trail. Too rush to enjoy the view and interact with the villagers there. In addition, Dhulikhel is unnecessary to visit on the third day, even though it could be a famous tourist attraction. It would be perfect if Bhaktapur tour was arranged instead. Anyway, we arranged the trip in a rush but bipin and Hari are very professional and kind. I appreciate to have this wonderful trip in the very first visit to Nepal. Definitely will visit Nepal to do longer hiking again. Will also introduce to average people a trip like Chisapani-Nagarkot-Bhaktapur to effectively enjoy the real Nepal effortlessly.
