Ghorepani Poonhil Trek is one of the most popular short treks of the Annapurna Region.
This Trek is also known as Annapurna sunrise trek as it offers the best sunrise view from Poonhill. Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is a perfect combination of rich nature and cultural villages.
En route to Poonhill, you’ll walk through the lush rhododendron forest, the largest of the region. Gurung and Magar People are inhabited mostly in this area. Most of the Gurung people are retired Gurkha army. You can visit the Gurung museum in Gandruk village and click some photographs wearing their traditional dress.
The hospitality of local people will make you feel at home. Situated on the elevation of 3210m, the Poonhill viewpoint offers the breathtaking mountain views of Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Lamjung Himal (6,983m), and Machhapuchhre (6,997m). 2) Helambu Trek
Helambu is one of the most beautiful highlands in the Langtang region of Nepal which provides us with a great short and easy trek. Situated only 80km away from Kathmandu, Helambu is dominated by the Hyolmo people. The name Helambu itself means home to Hyolmos. Helambu trek normally lasts for 8 days, however, it can be completed in 5-6 days also.
Despite being near the capital, the Helambu region has still not been influenced by westernization.
The residents of this region are Sherpas, Tamang, and hyolmos. You’ll come across many Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and shrines en route to Helambu.

4) Royal Trek
The royal trek is one of the shortest treks which is on the foothill of Annapurna Region, north of Pokhara valley.

6) Namobudhha Dhulikhel Trekking
Namo-Budhha Dhulikhel is one of the short and easiest trekking trails of Kathmandu. Dhulikhel is a small touristic city, best known for its historic temples and houses. The diverse community of Newar, Brahmin, Tamang, Chhetris, and Dalit resides here.
After reaching Dhulikhel, you will see splendid views of Gaurishanker, Dorje lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Rolwaling Himalayan range, and other ranges.
This Namobuddha Dhulikhel Hiking Trail takes you through the typical ancient city, the people, and their culture. The revered site of Namo Buddha is about 40km away from the heart of Kathmandu city. It is situated in Kavre District in the southeast of the valley. Namobuddha is a very famous Monastery.
Hiking trail to Namobuddha goes all the way through traditional settlements, green forests, and farmlands before you arrive at Namobuddha Monastery.
The place is very quiet, pure, and serene. The environment is spotless, with no pollution, and the natural air is so fresh, cool, and healthy. The monastery is seated at 1750 m.
According to the story, Lord Buddha in his previous manifestation had offered his own flesh to save a starving tigress and her cubs from the probable death. The hike offers amazing and adjoining mountains views, varied sanctuaries, and diverse sorts of the scene and assorted qualities of people.
